Solar panels 1. Looking inside Solartwin.
Filed under Types of Solar PanelsJul 24Solar heating panels briefing (1) for National Geographic TV on how Solartwin solar water heating systems work. Shows solar panel, pump, PV. Explains how they work together. Says how the best solar panels work. The ideal solar panels are freeze tolerant and can be run entirely on PV (solar electricity) not plugged into the wall, so they are zero carbon and you save more energy / carbon emissions. Enjoy!

Thanks. I’ll just don the anorak… silicon is a common element, which is one of just over 100 elements that we know of. Doped, thinly sliced crystalline silicon is used to make PV’s. Sand is mainly mainly silcon dioxid. Various polysiloxanes, which have a mainly silicon backbone are called silicones. Note the on silicone. Anorak off.
